Vegie Piquant Pastry Pizza
Appetizer
Ingredients:
1 package of Pepperidge Farm Frozen pastry dough *keep frozen until 1/2
hour before use
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Original Dressing
1/2 cup Lite Mayo
8 oz Philadelphia low fat cream cheese (the soft stuff in the tub)
Veggies as per the season cut very small [tomatoes, mushrooms, red peppers,
cauliflower, broccoli & celery for Christmas etc.]
Directions:
Defrost pastry dough for 1/2 hour. Lay out on cookie sheet sprayed with
cooking spray, & bake at 400 until golden brown - about 15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely. Mix together dressing mix, Mayo, & cream
cheese. Layer on top, or if it's too puffed up, turn the whole thing over
and spread the topping on the underside which will be completely flat. Top
with your favorite veggies. Refrigerate several hours. Cut in squares. They
go like wildfire!
*Do not freeze or keep for too long. The pastry dough gets flat.
