Zesty Punch

What you'll need for the punch:
1 two liter bottle of Ginger Ale (diet is okay too)
1 Bottle Cranberry based juice
1 Bottle Grapefruit based juice

For the Fruit Juice Ring:
1 bottle of  juice in a color that matches the punch
1 can of fruit such as mandarin oranges, or other small fruits that freeze well and will look good in a punch bowl
1 bundt cake ring *make sure you get one small enough so it fits in the punch bowl

Other:
Punch bowl, cups, ladle
Tape
Decorated toothpicks to put around the punch bowl

Making the Fruit Juice Ring: Fill the bundt cake ring 2/3 with juice of your choice. Freeze solid. After that's frozen, add a can of fruit along with the juice in the can and freeze it again.

The fruit juice ring acts as "ice" and won't water down the punch. It's also a lot less expensive than bags of ice and looks really cool. As the ice ring melts, the fruit floats up. I don't recommend you put in the fruit in the bottom (what will be the top) of the ring because it looks bumpy and not all that appetizing.

Make two of these if your party is going on for more than a few hours.

Once you've set the punch bowl out on the table, put the fruit ring in FIRST. Then add ginger ale and juices. This recipe fills a standard punch bowl once. The cranberry and/or grapefruit juices add the zing that gives this punch super zip.
