Succulent Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Wash Strawberries way in advance.
They will not hold chocolate if they are wet! Leave tops on.
Ingredients:
1 Bag Shop & Save Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips [I swear on my chip that
we had a blind taste test and Shop & Save won out over Ghiradelli's.
What a disappointment! ]
1 Quart Strawberries
Wax Paper
Directions:
Place most of chips [minus those you ate] in bowl in microwave. Microwave
for 15-20 seconds at a time, stirring between each session. When chocolate
is almost melted, remove from microwave. It's very easy to scorch the
chocolate which is a major bummer!
Dip strawberries and place on wax paper and refrigerate. People will be
very impressed [I always tell them that I slaved over this dessert and
that I just yesterday hand picked the chocolate beans in New Guinea.
