Prodigious Roma Chili
Chop & Sauté in olive oil in very large pot:
1 white onion
Then add to same pot:
One 16 oz can Contadina crushed tomatoes (or fresh of course)
1 bottle of your favorite beer
Several cups fresh water
2 dollops olive oil
1 "Brown Bag" or "Colonial Shelby's" pre mixed chili
fixins seasonings - use all the cayenne. Hold the masa flour out.
Chop into largish chunks & Sauté to rare and add in:
2-3 steaks [Give trimmings to kitties]
During cooking:
Add the masa flour, mixing vigorously as you sprinkle in.
Heat until boiling, then simmer for 1-2 hours before serving. Better if
left overnight.
Serve With:
French Bread
